If you've maybe just subscribed to Disney+ and are looking to sit down in front of the television for a bunch of superhero movies, then you are going to want to know exactly what order you should watch the Marvel Cinematic Universe in! Well, we've got exactly what you need, with a full list of the movies and when they take place so you won't miss a thing as you delve deep into this action-packed series of movies.
For the most part, you generally try to watch these in chunks marked by the Avengers movies. These are the most obvious markers that show when one of the films has taken place. However, some of them did occur at specific times that were referenced in some of them. We've tried to take into account as much as possible when they happened and order them accordingly. Some movies are a bit hard to place, and have even been ret-conned a bit in more recent movies. Spider-Man: Homecoming was supposed to have happened in 2020, but doesn't fit the timeline and what is referenced in Infinity War. Regardless of the actual times listed in the movies, we've laid these out in a way that should make sense if you were to watch them in order!
